Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Coarsegold, CA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license with good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in the Operating Room
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are sterile and ready
• Monitor patients during surgery, anticipating needs of the surgical team
• Document nursing care and surgical interventions accurately
• Serve as an advocate for patient safety and comfort at all times
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and facility standards
• Provide education and reassurance to patients and their families as needed
