Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license, valid and in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing roles within the OR
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, maintaining patient safety and sterile technique throughout
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff
• Prepare, assess, and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
• Accurately document interventions, outcomes, and changes in condition
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and accreditation standards
• Assist with education and support for patients and families regarding surgical procedures
