Required Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience in the Operating Room as a circulating or scrub nurse
• BLS certification (current and valid)
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Strong attention to surgical protocols and patient safety practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room, equipment, and instruments for surgeries
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers with patient care and procedural support
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and responses throughout the surgical experience
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection prevention
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and optimum outcomes throughout the surgical process
• Respond to emergencies and adapt to changing priorities in high-acuity situations
