Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, supporting surgical teams through all phases of perioperative nursing. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals for an established period.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Solid understanding of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures and ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available
  • Circulate and/or scrub during surgical cases, assisting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
  • Monitor patient status and support surgical safety protocols before, during, and after surgery
  • Maintain accurate patient and surgical records in accordance with hospital policies
  • Provide compassionate care by addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the highest standard of care and assist with room turnover between procedures
