Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Concord, NC

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room. In this vital role, your clinical skills will directly impact positive surgical outcomes and patient care. You will function as an integral member of the perioperative team, supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow staff during surgical procedures.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week)
• Shift time: 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• Average of 6 on-call shifts within each 6-week scheduling period, with a required 45-minute response time (call shifts typically 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m./7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. on weekends)
• Weekend rotation required; coverage may be fulfilled via call or a scheduled 12-hour shift (most often 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.)
• 75% holiday coverage expected

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required
• Operating Room (OR) experience as a circulating RN
• BLS certification (additional certifications preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to meet 45-minute on-call response requirement

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the OR before, during, and after surgery
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment
• Effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary surgical teams
• Monitor patient status and adjust care as needed during procedures
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with protocols
