Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an operating room (OR) setting
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and perioperative nursing care
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Current BLS certification (and ACLS preferred)
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout the perioperative process, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
• Prepare operating room and ensure the proper function and availability of surgical instruments and equipment
• Serve as patient advocate, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and respond rapidly to changing circumstances
• Accurately document all care provided and observations per facility protocols
