Experienced registered nurses with a background in the operating room are invited to take on a rewarding opportunity supporting surgical patients. This 13-week assignment calls for professionals passionate about perioperative care, especially those skilled in general, orthopedic, and neuro procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shifts: 10- or 12-hour shifts available
- Weekend and call coverage required (one weekend every 4 weeks, plus some short and long call rotations)
Qualifications:
- Valid, unencumbered RN license (RI or compact)
- Active BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience in general, orthopedic, and neuro operating room cases
- Proficiency with DaVinci Robotics systems
- Flexible and reliable when participating in weekend and on-call schedules
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and smooth OR flow
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, adhering to strict standards of sterility and safety
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons during procedures, providing instruments and support as required
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, responding to emergencies with composure and clinical expertise
- Document intraoperative assessments and interventions accurately
- Maintain open communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
