Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
  • Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing cases preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
  • Experience adhering to strict safety and sterile protocols

Schedule:

  • Contract position
  • Typical schedule includes weekday shifts; some roles may require weekend or on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field
  • Accurately document intraoperative care and patient responses
  • Monitor vital signs and anticipate patient needs throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient surgeries
  • Provide patient and family education regarding perioperative care
  • Adhere to established hospital protocols and compliance standards
