Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Decatur, Georgia

Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in an Operating Room setting (OR RN)
• BLS certification (other relevant certifications a plus)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, perioperative nursing standards, and surgical instrumentation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with surgical and anesthesia teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain Operating Room for scheduled procedures
• Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning
• Assist surgeons and other clinical staff before, during, and after operative procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes in condition
• Maintain accurate surgical documentation and adhere strictly to infection control protocols and facility policies
