Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Decatur, Georgia

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current, active RN license
• At least one year of recent experience as an OR nurse
• Familiarity with circulating and scrubbing duties preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical-thinking and multitasking abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedule details to be discussed during interview; flexibility may be required for shifts, including days, evenings, or weekends depending on surgical case load

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub during various surgical services, maintaining strict adherence to aseptic technique
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care while supporting surgical teams throughout procedures
• Ensure patient safety and prepare equipment, instruments, and supplies for operations
• Monitor and document patient status, responding rapidly to changing conditions and emergencies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding procedures and recovery
• Maintain compliance with all organizational, state, and federal regulations and standards

$1,877 - $1,986/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
