Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Denver, CO

Step into a vital Nursing role within a dynamic Main Operating Room setting, delivering expert care and surgical support as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. This contract position involves 12-hour day shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including both night and weekend call assignments. The surgical suite features 16 state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped for a range of specialties, from transplants to robotics and advanced orthopedic procedures.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Night and weekend call rotation

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Transplant operating room experience essential
• Minimum of three years’ experience in OR nursing highly preferred
• Certification in perioperative nursing is a plus
• Proficient in use of Meditech EMR systems
• Adaptability and readiness for fast-paced, high-tech surgical environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of cases, including total joints, spine surgeries, kidney/liver transplants, vascular, robotics, ENT, plastics, and more
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere strictly to unit policies, safety standards, and established protocols
• Remain prepared for nights/weekends call and respond to emergent OR needs with professionalism
