Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This contract opportunity calls for a seasoned RN who can provide skilled support and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ Operating Room experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required and must be current
- Demonstrated strength in orthopedic surgery support
- Proven ability to provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care
- Commitment to upholding best practices in surgical nursing
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care to surgical patients and their families in the operating room environment
- Work closely and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to coordinate care and optimize surgical outcomes
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout all perioperative phases
- Accurately document patient status, interventions, and progress
- Respond rapidly and efficiently to changes in patient condition or unexpected events during surgery
- Participate in team briefings and debriefings to promote quality improvement initiatives
Additional Information:
- Must adhere to a 70-mile radius rule for eligibility
- Strong preference for candidates with advanced orthopedic surgical experience
