Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Edwards, CO

Schedule/Hours

• Facility guarantees 36 hours weekly out of 40, ensuring consistent scheduling support

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN licensure
• Minimum of two years of recent OR nursing experience
• Strong background in orthopedic surgery required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate approach to patient and family care
• Must meet 70-mile radius requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative care in fast-paced OR environments
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
• Monitor, assess, and record patient vital signs and responses pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
• Ensure that equipment and instruments are sterile, available, and functioning
• Advocate for patients and coordinate care with surgical, anesthesia, and recovery teams
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the surgical experience
• Attend briefings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
