Schedule/Hours:
- Facility will guarantee 36 hours per week out of 40
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Operating Room nurse
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proven, strong orthopedic experience necessary
- Ability to work within a 70-mile radius as per facility guidelines
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing individualized, compassionate care to every patient and their family
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing care delivered in the operating room
- Collaborate closely with physicians, surgical techs, and other clinical team members to promote optimal surgical outcomes
- Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team and patient before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, sterilization practices, and surgical protocols
- Serve as an advocate for patients, providing education, support, and comfort throughout the perioperative experience
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
