Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Englewood, Colorado

Step into an advanced operating room environment and contribute your expertise as a Registered Nurse within a contract assignment. This role focuses on the Main Operating Room, where you’ll work alongside a highly experienced surgical team in a 16-suite OR, utilizing some of the latest medical technology. The position offers robust learning opportunities with a wide range of complex surgical cases, including transplants and robotics, making it an ideal opportunity for skilled nurses to further develop their clinical experience.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Includes night and weekend call

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Proven transplant operating room experience is mandatory
• At least 3 years of recent operating room nursing experience highly preferred
• National certification in perioperative nursing considered a plus
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures such as total joints, spine, kidney/liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
• Previous experience working with Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing highly specialized and routine surgical procedures
• Support and anticipate the needs of the surgical team, ensuring a safe and efficient OR experience
• Uphold strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines
• Perform thorough documentation and patient assessments using Meditech EMR
