In this travel assignment, you'll be immersed in a 16-bed OR environment equipped with advanced technology, including DaVinci Robotics, and serve alongside a highly skilled perioperative team. The flexible scheduling and collaborative leadership allow you to grow through exposure to a variety of workplace practices, expanding your resume and deepening your expertise in surgical services.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required on weekends (8–12 calls per 8 weeks)
- 30-minute response required when on-call
- First shifts scheduled for you, then move to self-scheduling
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe patient care in the operating room
- Assist in complex procedures including total joints, spine surgery, vascular cases, ENT, plastics, and organ transplants (liver and kidney)
- Utilize and maintain familiarity with advanced surgical technology and EMR (Meditech/CPN)
- Adhere to clinical protocols and policies to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active NBSTA and DORA certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital CST experience
- Strong background with robotics-assisted procedures and organ transplants preferred
- Experience with Meditech and spine surgeries beneficial
