Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Eudora, Kansas

Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Demonstrated experience in the Operating Room, with strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous experience working as an OR Registered Nurse highly desired
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, adapting to rapidly changing situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the Operating Room
• Assist with instrumentation, maintain sterile field, and anticipate the needs of surgeons
• Monitor patient vitals, documenting all relevant health information accurately in electronic medical records
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort, reporting any concerns to the surgical or anesthesia team promptly
• Participate in surgical time-outs and maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Support patient and family education regarding perioperative care
