Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
- Confidence in circulating and/or scrubbing preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic surgical teams
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide expert nursing care throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and patient safety protocols
- Prepare, organize, and maintain OR equipment and instruments
- Champion patient advocacy and support pre- and post-operative needs
- Document thoroughly and communicate effectively to enhance outcomes
