Step into a vital role supporting surgical excellence as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This contract-based opportunity offers a dynamic environment where your clinical expertise and calm under pressure will help elevate patient care during surgical procedures.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week are guaranteed, with the exception of Independence Day and Labor Day weeks, which are 32 hours.

Qualifications:

  • Valid, active CA Registered Nurse license required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Recent TB clearance (completed within the last 12 months)
  • Demonstrated Operating Room experience, specifically as an OR Circulator
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary circulator RN in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures
  • Prepare OR suites, coordinate case flow, and facilitate necessary equipment and supply management
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other team members to maintain an optimal surgical environment
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold rigorous infection control standards
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care at every stage of the perioperative process
