Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Eureka, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours, 40 per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments for surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical staff, anesthesiologists, and other nurses to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Advocate for patient safety and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Provide clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Document all nursing activities accurately and in compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license with eligibility to practice
• At least one year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience required
• CPR/BLS certification (current and maintained)
• Proficiency in sterile technique and perioperative nursing standards
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work calmly in fast-paced surgical environments
