Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Previous experience in an operating room setting
• Competency in perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities

• Ability to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary surgical team

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical specialties
• Monitor patient status and advocate for safety throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies
• Assist in patient positioning, anesthesia induction, and surgical site preparation
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic practices and infection control standards
• Document surgical care accurately and promptly
• Support and educate patients and families regarding perioperative care
