Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, surgical techs, and ancillary staff
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in patient assessment, operative documentation, and sterile technique

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
  • Prepare OR suites, equipment, and instruments in accordance with surgical case requirements
  • Circulate and/or scrub as needed during a wide variety of surgical procedures
  • Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, responses, and progress throughout the procedure
  • Support physician and anesthesia staff, anticipating needs to promote safe surgical outcomes
  • Uphold infection control policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives
