Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• 1+ years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse
• Proficiency in perioperative nursing skills, including scrubbing and circulating
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Knowledge of OR protocols, aseptic technique, and surgical instrumentation
• Strong organizational and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to effectively collaborate with surgeons, surgical techs, and anesthesia staff

Schedule:

• Variable day shifts, including some on-call and weekend coverage as required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Prepare and maintain operating room environment, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
• Monitor patient status and anticipate needs during surgical procedures
• Uphold strict infection control and safety standards in accordance with facility policies
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient case flow and quality outcomes
• Participate in patient and family education to ensure understanding of surgical procedures and recovery
