Schedule/Hours

• Travel assignment with variable shifts depending on OR schedule
• May include nights, weekends, or on-call rotations

Desired Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS required within 60 days if not held at hire
• Previous operating room nursing experience and CNOR certification strongly preferred
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting
• Strong communicator with a friendly, patient-centered approach

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care aligned with protocols and industry standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Oversee sterile technique and the handling of surgical instruments and specimens
• Advocate for patient safety and privacy at all times
• Educate patients and families, and participate in precepting and mentoring
• Participate in emergency response and eliminate risks to patient safety
