Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 6:30a–5p (with call; exact times and days may vary based on patient volume)
• 13-week assignment
• Float between campuses as needed

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience, with solid skills in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Cerner EMR experience required
• CNOR certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate critical thinking in surgical patient care, planning, and anticipation
• Work collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and allied staff
• Ensure operating room is well-prepared with necessary supplies and equipment
• Maintain effective communication with surgical teams and patient families
• Update physician preference cards; scrub and circulate as needed
• Supervise and train personnel delivering patient care
• Uphold standards of care according to AORN, State Nurse Practice Act, and hospital protocols
