Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Fort Myers, Florida

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
• Familiarity with surgical instruments, aseptic technique, and documentation systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases, supporting surgeons and anesthesia providers
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and status during surgery
• Ensure proper set-up, functioning, and cleaning of surgical equipment and instrumentation
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Accurately document patient care, procedures, and supplies used
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Participate actively in team briefings, debriefings, and ongoing education sessions
