Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Franklin, TN

Advance your nursing career in a dynamic operating room environment at a leading healthcare facility. This 26-week contract opportunity offers the chance to work within a high-acuity, 1000+ bed hospital and become a vital part of an expert OR Float Pool team. Orientation dates are available on 9/14, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, and 10/26 (no orientation on 9/21 or 10/19). This role requires commitment to the full duration; limited time off is approved, and working two out of three holidays is expected.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, 7a–7p (schedule varies week to week per unit needs)
• Late stay required (potential to stay up to one hour past shift end during high census periods)
• Floating within the ORs (no location changes)
• Four late stays expected per 13-week period

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (must be on file at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of circulating experience in the OR; scrub experience not required
• Prior travel nurse experience
• Experience in large facilities or level 1 trauma settings preferred
• Competency across all surgical service lines (except cardiac, transplant, trauma/neuro)
• Flexibility to work variable shifts without block scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in a 56-bed OR (inpatient & outpatient) and 5 procedural rooms
• Support a variety of cases including neuro, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, vascular, robotic, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary procedures
• Provide care to an adult patient population (no pediatrics)
• Float between assigned ORs based on department needs
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and patient safety
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in a level 1 trauma setting

$1,941 - $2,123/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
