Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an operating room environment
• Proficiency with perioperative procedures, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Schedule:

• Full-time hours with rotating shifts, including possible weekends and holidays depending on surgical scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
• Closely monitor patients’ vital signs and document all details accurately
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols at all times
• Educate patients and families regarding perioperative care and recovery processes
