Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Fresno, California

Deliver essential care and support in the operating room as a Registered Nurse, where your expertise in perioperative practices will directly impact patient outcomes. Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
• Skilled in circulating and scrubbing for surgical cases
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Proficient in sterile technique and infection control standards
• Strong communication, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
• Coordinate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient safety
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, including equipment setup and adherence to aseptic protocols
• Monitor and document patient status and respond promptly to changes
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the surgical experience
• Participate in continuous process improvement and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
