Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Germantown, TN

Step into a rewarding role providing specialized care to surgical patients as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize and further your expertise in a fast-paced surgical setting, supporting diverse specialties and advanced procedures.

Schedule Details:

• 4x10 hour shifts: 6:45am – 5:15pm
• Rotating call: 3-4 weeknights per 6-week period, plus one weekend and one holiday during the contract

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license and BLS certification
• At least one year of recent experience in an Operating Room environment, including General Surgery, Plastics, ENT, and Robotics
• Able to adapt to rapidly changing situations and remain calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with surgical teams
• Candidates must be located at least 50 miles outside of Germantown, TN (radius rule applies)

Role Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe, efficient operating room environment
• Prepare surgical suites and equipment, maintaining strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
• Monitor patients’ status intraoperatively and provide critical support to surgeons and anesthesia providers
• Document patient care and surgical activities accurately and timely
• Respond to emergent situations with quick thinking and effective interventions
• Participate in pre- and post-operative patient education and support
