This travel opportunity in a busy central Nebraska hospital is ideal for skilled OR RNs passionate about diverse case exposure and eager to add impressive new experiences to their resumes. Schedule/Hours:
- 0630–1500, Monday through Friday
- On-call: 1 night per week
- Weekend on-call: Every 5th or 6th weekend
- Holiday call: Rotating schedule
Desired Abilities and Experience:
- Active RN license and valid driver’s license (for compliance with travel radius requirements)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong circulating skills in all surgical specialties: ortho, neuro, urology, general, ENT, GYN, and DaVinci robotics
- Ability to quickly adapt—no specialized teams for service lines
- Minimum 3–4 years’ recent neuro experience and competence in all service areas
- Comfortable floating to Pre/Post op, PACU, and ER for trauma if trained
- Open to feedback, flexible with schedules, and dedicated to teamwork
Responsibilities:
- Circulate independently across diverse procedures for adult, peds, and geriatric cases
- Collaborate under the guidance of a charge nurse and support OR techs
- Participate in one week of comprehensive orientation
- Pass a required open-book skills exam (90% proficiency required)
