Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Hanover, Pennsylvania

Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour shifts: Options include 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
• Days/Evenings coverage
• On-call: One weekday per week (after shift until 7:00 AM), plus four weekends on-call per 13-week assignment (Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM)
• No scheduled weekend shifts—on call only

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA Registered Nurse license required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ perioperative nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Compliance with PA Acts 31, 33, 34, and 73
• Proficient in vascular, general, gynecology, orthopedics, podiatry, robotics, ENT, urology, and plastics
• Prior experience in both circulating and scrubbing procedures is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating nurse for surgical procedures: prepare the OR, confirm patient details, ensure all equipment and instruments are ready
• Assist surgical staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and prioritize patient safety at all times
• Maintain meticulous surgical records and documentation
• Cross-train and participate in scrubbing to expand your clinical skillset
• Adapt flexibly to a variety of surgical specialties and advanced techniques
