Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to aseptic techniques at all times
• Monitor patients’ physiological and psychological status throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and anesthesia staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document nursing care and maintain up-to-date patient records
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, ensuring all equipment functions safely and efficiently
• Respond swiftly and effectively to changing patient conditions in high-pressure settings

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year OR nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Expertise in circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to function efficiently both independently and as part of an integrated healthcare team
