Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification and credentials as a CVOR Tech
• Demonstrated expertise in adult cardiac operating room procedures
• Previous experience assisting with complex cardiac surgeries in a high-acuity setting
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Dependability, adaptability, and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams during adult cardiac procedures, ensuring a sterile field and precise instrumentation handling
• Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical equipment and supplies
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and RNs to anticipate procedural needs
• Monitor patient safety and respond promptly to emergent situations within the cardiac OR
