• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience preferred
• Proven skills in perioperative care, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op support
• BLS certification required; additional specialty certifications (such as CNOR) are a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with surgical teams and follow sterile procedures
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment with variable shifts based on facility needs (discuss during interview)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Provide direct care by assisting surgeons and ensuring a sterile, safe environment
• Adhere to hospital protocols and surgical standards to minimize risk and enhance patient safety
• Accurately document intraoperative findings and nursing interventions
• Respond quickly to emergencies or changes in patient status
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
