Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Proven experience in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong knowledge of operating room protocols, sterile technique, and infection control standards
• Ability to work effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative staff
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and sterile
• Act as a circulating or scrub nurse during procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgical team
• Monitor patients before, during, and immediately after surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Accurately document nursing interventions, procedures, and patient responses
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or changes in patient status
