Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Huntersville, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts, three days per week (36 hours total)
• Typical shift: 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Weekend rotation required; coverage could be scheduled shifts (typically 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) or call assignments (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)
• Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule, 45-minute response time required during call periods (call may include overnights and weekends)
• Holiday work required, with expectation to be available for approximately 75% of recognized holidays
• No floating required

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in the Operating Room as an RN
• Must possess clinical expertise in all phases of perioperative care
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to respond to call assignments within required 45-minute window

• Provide comprehensive intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
