A registered nurse with operating room expertise is needed for a contract position in Inez, KY, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment. This role allows a skilled RN to apply advanced perioperative nursing skills in various surgical specialties, including vascular surgery and orthopedics, while contributing to patient recovery in the PACU.

Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the general operating room covering diverse cases: endarterectomy with stents and patches, aneurysm and vessel cleaning, orthopedic procedures (totals, ORIF, arthroscopy), laparoscopic surgery, and gynecological procedures.
- Assist with ENT procedures including tubes, tonsil and adenoid surgeries, thyroid operations, nasal fracture repairs.
- Support post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nursing during call-back situations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety, proper preparation, and recovery.
- Participate in required shifts, including night and weekend call duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ OR nursing experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Reside within 100 miles of the facility.
- Ability to commit to 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, plus call demands (one shift per week, one weekend per month).
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts.
- One call shift and one weekend per month required.
