Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Kannapolis, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience in operating room (OR) nursing
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Proficiency in responding to rapidly changing clinical situations

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, rotating shifts depending on surgical case loads

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient preparation and assessment prior to surgery
• Support intraoperative patient care by anticipating needs of surgeons and maintaining sterile environment
• Monitor patient vital signs, document care provided, and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding perioperative care
• Participate in equipment checks, supply management, and ongoing process improvements for the OR
• Uphold infection control and patient safety standards consistently
