Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing in a wide range of surgical specialties
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices
• Skilled in anticipating surgeon and surgical team needs during procedures
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the surgical process, including preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure the safety and comfort of all patients
• Maintain strict adherence to sterilization procedures and accurately document nursing interventions and patient responses
• Monitor vital signs, administer medication, and provide tailored patient education and emotional support as needed
• Ensure the readiness and availability of operating room equipment and supplies
• Uphold all facility policies and regulatory standards
