Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Kannapolis, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience working as an Operating Room RN
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing care, sterile technique, and OR procedures
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care throughout the surgical process including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment
• Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes during procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and documentation standards
• Support patient and family education regarding procedures and post-surgical instructions
