Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR RN)

• Thorough understanding of surgical asepsis, instrumentation, and infection control
• Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in urgent or emergent situations
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub on a variety of surgical cases
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with facility protocols
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary surgical team, anticipating the needs of surgeons and supporting patient care
• Conduct patient assessments before, during, and after surgery, reporting any changes in condition promptly
