Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Kerman, CA

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Proficient in circulating and scrubbing roles preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-focused care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room, ensuring equipment and instruments are sterile and ready
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers throughout procedures, maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor patient status, documenting all interventions and observations accurately
• Adhere to safety protocols and swiftly respond to emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with surgical and recovery teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
• Advocate for patient needs and provide education to patients and families as appropriate
