Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Kerman, California

Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum one year of recent experience circulating or scrubbing in the Operating Room
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred)
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and operating room protocols
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and surgical documentation
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure with keen attention to patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures
• Provide intraoperative nursing care by circulating and/or scrubbing during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure seamless patient care
• Monitor patient status and advocate for their needs throughout surgical procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety standards, and documentation protocols
• Support patient and family education regarding perioperative care as needed
• Actively contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives
