This travel role calls for a Registered Nurse who thrives in surgical services settings and values diverse workplace environments. You'll expand your expertise by covering all three essential perioperative areas—Pre-op, Operating Room/Circulator, and PACU. Schedule/Hours
- 40-hour work week
- Rotational call: weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Main shift: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday; occasional late days as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in pre-op, OR/circulator, and PACU settings
- Assess, document, and provide emotional support to patients and families
- Coordinate patient transfers, recover patients, assist with surgical cases, and process instruments/equipment
- Maintain infection control standards (IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, ASPAN guidelines)
- Support and educate patients, collaborating closely with surgical services team
Preferred Qualifications
- RN graduate with current Colorado licensure
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Pre-op, OR, and PACU (must have ability in all three)
- ACLS certification required; CNOR and scrub experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to excel in high-stress situations
