Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Lancaster, California

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour shifts (Fixed)
• Thursdays & Fridays: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Call coverage is required (weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays)

Position Details: This travel assignment offers immediate start and spans a 13-week duration, providing valuable experience working alongside talented surgical professionals.

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience, including Level I or II trauma centers
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Expertise in orthopedic, trauma, and robotic procedures
• Skills checklist must be completed upon submission

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective operating room nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate in diverse surgical cases, including ortho, trauma, and robotics
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond rapidly in emergent situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to maximize patient outcomes
• Strictly adhere to all hospital protocols and aseptic techniques
• Take rotating call assignments and respond to calls as required
