An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to support a healthcare facility on a 13-week travel contract. This role requires expertise in Orthopedics, Trauma, and Robotics, with a strong background in Level I or II trauma care. The position offers a fixed schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, providing an intensive yet balanced work rhythm.
Schedule:
- Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- On-call responsibilities required during weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Valid California RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, including Level I or II trauma
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Proficiency in Orthopedics, Trauma, and Robotics in the OR setting
- Skills checklist submission required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional perioperative care in the Operating Room
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure procedural efficiency and patient safety
- Manage trauma and orthopedic cases with expertise in robotic-assisted surgeries
- Respond effectively to on-call duties, providing critical support when needed
