Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent OR (Operating Room) experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
• Outstanding critical thinking and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments prior to surgery and monitor throughout perioperative phases
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to anticipate needs and ensure smooth, safe procedures
• Maintain strict sterile environment and enforce infection control protocols
• Accurately document patient information, interventions, and progress within medical records
• Provide emotional support, education, and information to patients and families about operative procedures and recovery plans
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers before, during, and immediately after procedures
