Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and eligibility to practice
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as an RN in the Operating Room (OR)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proven ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure clinical moments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with a range of surgical procedures, safety protocols, and sterile technique

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical cases, maintaining strict aseptic technique
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient information and procedural notes in accordance with facility policies
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring safety and efficient workflow
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any complications or emergencies
• Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold standards of care from pre-op assessment to post-op recovery
• Contribute to a supportive and professional environment, participating in ongoing process improvement
