Qualifications:
- Valid RN license and eligibility to practice
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as an RN in the Operating Room (OR)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proven ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure clinical moments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with a range of surgical procedures, safety protocols, and sterile technique
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical cases, maintaining strict aseptic technique
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient information and procedural notes in accordance with facility policies
- Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring safety and efficient workflow
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any complications or emergencies
- Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold standards of care from pre-op assessment to post-op recovery
- Contribute to a supportive and professional environment, participating in ongoing process improvement
