Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Lawrenceville, Georgia

An exceptional opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to support surgical care in a dynamic environment. This contract position is ideal for an RN passionate about perioperative nursing, with a keen focus on patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective patient care throughout the perioperative process, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and proper equipment setup
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff for seamless case management
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in medical records
• Remain vigilant in identifying and reporting any changes in patient conditions
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience working as an Operating Room RN (OR RN)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing on surgical cases
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Compassion, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
