- Familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures and protocols
Schedule:
- Rotating 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including potential weekend or holiday rotations (options vary and may be discussed during interview process)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff
- Monitor and prioritize patient safety throughout perioperative phases
- Manage case preparation, room setup, and instrument counts according to standards
- Anticipate needs of the surgeon and other team members during procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support patients and families with clear communication before and after surgeries
