Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in perioperative nursing, with a strong background in both adult and pediatric cases
• Proficiency circulating and scrubbing in the Operating Room preferred
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Familiarity with safety protocols, infection control, and OR best practices
• Ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• Strong critical thinking, organizational skills, and composure under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures for pediatric and adult patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for each case
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and manage post-operative recovery
• Offer emotional support and education to pediatric patients and their families throughout the surgical experience
• Document patient data, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with regulations and facility policies
