This contract role is ideal for Registered Nurses driven to deliver safe, high-quality care in a collaborative, state-of-the-art setting. With a 1:1 patient ratio and a friendly, highly skilled team ranging from new graduates to veteran nurses, you’ll build experience alongside some of the best in the field.

Schedule Options:

  • 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts (based on availability)
  • Set schedules for consistency and work-life balance

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active RN license and BLS certification
  • Previous surgical or procedural experience preferred, but open to all backgrounds (including new graduates)
  • Familiarity with surgical equipment and operating room protocols a plus
  • Strong critical thinking skills and collaborative spirit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures: general, orthopedic, cardiovascular, trauma, neurosurgery, gynecological, plastics, urology, pediatrics, and more
  • Work alongside surgeons and multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Utilize Meditech documentation system to maintain accurate records
  • Comply with infection control, safety, and hospital policies—hospital provides and launders all scrubs
  • Engage in a patient-focused environment as part of the region’s only designated Trauma Center, offering advanced emergency and specialty care
