Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience as an RN in the Operating Room
• BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS or CNOR preferred)
• Strong understanding of sterilization protocols and infection control
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to maintain a sterile and safe environment
• Prepare and maintain operating room instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor patient status and provide timely updates to the surgical team
• Accurately document procedures, medications, and observations
