Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Lithonia, GA

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience working as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting
• Proven clinical educator or preceptor experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective care to surgical patients before, during, and after operative procedures
• Utilize clinical expertise to support and educate surgical team members and new staff
• Develop, plan, and implement educational programs and in-services for perioperative staff
• Participate in surgical team briefings, assisting with coordination and patient advocacy
• Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to infection control standards
• Mentor and precept nurses and other staff members to promote skill development and compliance with procedures
