Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• Proficiency in surgical nursing procedures and protocols
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment with meticulous attention to sterile technique
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status throughout surgical interventions, responding appropriately to any changes
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Maintain a safe environment and uphold all infection control policies
• Support patients and their families with empathy and clear communication
