Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Lithonia, Georgia

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience in an Operating Room setting
• BLS and ACLS certification (required)
• Proficient in sterile techniques and aseptic practices
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing surgical situations
• Strong collaborative skills with multidisciplinary surgical teams

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
• Provide hands-on nursing care and support to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor vital signs and assist anesthesia providers as needed
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care in accordance with facility policies
• Anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical instruments and supplies
• Deliver compassionate patient education and address patient/family concerns
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Support and mentor surgical staff and students when required

$1,877 - $1,986/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
